Velvety soft Inkomazi scones
Ingredients
500ml(2 cups) cake flour
20ml Baking powder
120ml Inkomazi
60ml sugar(optional)
2 eggs
120g Margarine softened
Instructions
1 Preheat your oven to 180 degrees celsius
2 In a bowl sift the dry ingredients together and rub in the butter until it resembles bread crumbs.
3 Mix the wet ingredients using a different bowl.
4 Add the dry ingredients to the wet, and mix. Do not overmix
5 Empty the dough to a lightly floured surface and flatten to 2.5cm thick and cut to your desired shape.
6 Arrange on a greased baking tray and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown depending on your oven.
7 Let them cool, store in an airtight container. Enjoy
